Pioneering the way for a sustainable future

CES is pioneering and leading the way toward a more sustainable, balanced, and brilliant future, partnering with those who want to make a significant and positive impact in the world.

We are working together with our clients to empower and serve our communities. And, we are creating sustainable legacies for many generations to come.

We are experienced, established and trusted engineers, designers, planners, and beyond who are aware of environmental impact. We utilize sustainable materials as we work to protect our natural resources and deliver professional services and solutions that contribute to a more sustainable world.

Sustainable Business Practices

In addition to being members and annual sponsors of the Florida American Water Works Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Florida Engineering Society and their respective sustainability efforts and programming, CES offices in Broward and Miami are in LEED Silver Certified buildings with occupancy sensors, low flow and efficient fixtures, greenery and plants for air quality, and recycled-content, local/regional materials.

We encourage and celebrate our employees with discounts and tax savings for using public transit and carpooling.

In our offices, we use recycled paper, reusable dishware and silverware and environmentally friendly cleaners. We also operate as paperless as possible.

And, that’s just the beginning…

Social Responsibility

CES is actively involved in social and charitable initiatives, including financial support for the American Cancer Society, the ASPCA, UNICEF, St. Jude’s Children Cancer Hospital, the American Red Cross, the Broward Education Foundation, Broward Partnership for the Homeless, and the YMCA, amongst others. CES was a VIP Sponsor for the Great American Bash benefiting Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida in February 2022 and was a Gold Sponsor for 2020’s National Association of Black Women in Construction’s annual conference. CES has also contributed to Montessori Academy of Broward, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the Florida Highway Patrol, and the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

CES principals and members of our staff have also given their time to support the Florida Engineering Society Math Count Programs, the American Water Works Association, the Cuban American Association of Civil Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and other state professional societies that support philanthropic services throughout the community, including STEM initiatives at local schools that educate young people about careers in the engineering industry.
